Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

Welcome to SakurasouSakurasou no Pet na Kanojo’s 24-episode run stretched from the end of 2012 to the beginning of 2013 and is produced by J.C. Staff. Half of the Animes I have dropped are from J.C. Staff. Though, to their credit, they have produced good works such as Railgun, Kaichou wa Maid-sama and ToraDora.

I guess you could say J.C. Staff, to me, is like a make-it-or-break-it studio.

So how good of a job did they do for Sakurasou? Have they learnt from their mistakes and built on their strong points or did they let the series implode on their hollow plot and spastic story focus?

New Update

So you the few readers (which we treasure dearly) we have might be wondering why there has been no episodics appearing consistently at the usual time that they are supposed to appear. For that I sincerely apologize on the behalf of the entire blog. The reason being that all of the writers are starting our tertiary education and with our country’s way of teaching torturing students, the writers have been busy. And although I’m in a different system, enrollment is a pain in the arse so that kept me busy for a bit.

Forgive us? Please?

Forgive us? Please?

SO… this gave me a thought. Most people in this day and age don’t really have the time anymore. So I found out a perfect arrangement that would benefit both you and me and the entire human race. There are… people dying.. *cough* sorry. But seeing most people will not have the time to actually read through full episodics, we will now make weekly digests of the entire week of anime that we have watched. (which is about 15 anime this season alone) So hopefully this will give us a better way of keeping you guys up to date with your usual anime review dose, or if you’re too busy to watch the episode, get a gist of what happened.

Haganai NEXT Ep 9&10 – Kodaka

Episode 9 was pretty dull, so I decided to do a joint episodic with Episode 10 to make things more interesting.

We get a new redhead character which feels very familiar to a certain famous redheaded character from another show *ahem*Shana*ahem*.

I can think of a J.C. Staff show that’s  popular

Sakamichi no Apollon Review

Confused, distraught, distressed, these are all adjectives that describe my state the second the OP started. I will concede that, going in, I didn’t expect much of the plot, or characters, I would’ve watched the anime just for the sake of its soundtrack, but the OP, sacred in Bebop with its Tank!, had been defiled with vocals and surprising state of not-jazz, despite the whole anime being focused on that genre. Gone were my hopes of a spiritual successor to bebop with its themes and tunes, and in its stead I got this; a bewildering series of scenes, coupled with an even more perplexing song. Needless to say, that within the first minute of the first episode of this anime, my expectations were crushed- badly.

This is the only picture you're getting. Deal with it.

Love Live! Ep 8 & 9: What? We’re Busy Too!

Us being students, we are busy and seeing that nobody really looks out for these episodics, no one will mind if it’s late right? Plus we have this secret that the writer’s of this blog are actually school idols struggling to save our school from being closed due to not having enough students enrolling. Yeah, I know right! Tough times man.

Aww yeah... take it in Rin!!!
