Sometimes, just for fanservice, shows add in the beach episode just to show off the how the characters would look like in swimsuits, which can range from the modest (lolicon bait) school swimsuit to the bikini which can both be sporty and seductive.
When an episode has enough swimsuits, the power of fanservice is so strong that it completely rejects the need for any sense to be made and any progress made to the plot is nothing more than a coincidence. With those sentences, that would be how I would simply describe the entire episode. Pointless, but great to look at.
One thing we really have to note, Mr “Wild Weasel” Dr. Isshiki is becoming a pervert bit by bit. I mean everything he does is nothing short of that of a pedophile. He made his granddaughter a swimsuit that can transform into a tent that allows everyone inside… to stare at her ____.
And he tasered a loli wearing a bikini and supposedly carried her to a bed. And made a training that involves the girls running around in nothing more than their swimsuits.
There is nothing more to this episode than fanservice and complete lack of sense. I mean it was fantastic to see the girls in their swimsuit but I would take a cliché bikini fight scene than to have this kind of random, senseless and pointless action. If you can even call that action.
So far what I have to comment about the characters is why Akane has to wear a school swimsuit,
Wakaba’s bikini looks weird, but I love her all the same,
Himawari looks amazing,
Aoi looks amazing,
Rei looks amazing,
And buttons that say “Do not press are begging to be pressed”,
The lack of transformation scenes is annoying. Anyway, with that said, I leave you with more fanservice.
