The title says it all – FIRST YEARS!!! They are definitely the favourites from love live and I like them all (not saying that i dislike the rest). I like all the characters in or joining the idol group, except Nico so far (which I hope will change after next week). This week’s episode was certainly enjoyable with MakiRinPana!
The focus this week was definitely on Hanayo or Kayochin or Panayo (which was part of the title), with the episode starting by showing her shyness and soft voice. With that starting, I kinda guessed that Hanayo would be the one to influence Maki and Rin to join the idol group too. After all, the episode continues to where Rin comes to know of Kayochin’s intention to join the group..
Thereafter, we come to discover about the beautiful house Maki lives in and yes…that she’s rich. But giving up music for medicine is definitely a no! Maki, being her usual tsundere self, rejects not looking at the idol group’s posters and blushes at the slightest things.
Rin, of course, is also just being her usual cute self… Her voice is not soft yet not too powerful and she always drags the last syllable.(think I’m loving Iida Riho’s voice too… besides Pile’s)
Though I feel that Maki and Rin decided to join the idol group too easily, I guess it was also partly because of the first three’s determination and first live. Honoka, Kotori and Umi also inspired Hanayo with their words during that coincidental encounter. Thus, I really found it meaningful when they played their first live’s song, Start Dash, in the background when the three first years were contemplating about joining.
It was really nice to see that Hanayo had the passion within and that she came out of her shell. Hanayo really reminds me of… me (at least the previous me)…
She also got to become closer to Maki, who is actually willing to help Hanayo, being her helpful self (also helped compose the song, though secretly). It was also funny to see that Maki and Rin were actually fighting over Hanayo, fighting over who should help her.. but more of Maki actually acting, even fighting for Hanayo (Hanayo must just be irresistible…)
Hence, this week’s love live was absolutely lovely, ending with the first years calling each other by their first names, becoming good friends. And according to the preview, we will get to see more of Nico next week. Since she’s the only one who has not gotten my liking, I hope to see another side of her and also come to like her. Until then, I leave you with more of Panayo!
